As we approach the midpoint of the year, the time for self-appraisals and self-performance reviews is right around the corner. 

If you are proactive and dedicated to professional development, you most likely wrote down a list of performance goals at the beginning of the year. These may have been general ideas of how you wanted to improve, or ideally, specific and actionable SMART goals that utilized numbers and targets to help you aim for new heights.

You will now need to revisit your goals and evaluate your progress towards them.
